Sample Itineraries for 14-day 13-night Programme

Day 7
Back to language lessons again in the morning.

In the afternoon, your journey brings you to the Singapore Zoo, which is well known as an "open zoo" where animals are not in cages but in enclosures with natural barriers.

Take a "behind the scenes" tour and find out more about creepy crawlies. Make friends with an orang utan.

Day 8
Move from one classroom to another. Experience the life of a Singaporean student!  Pay a visit to a local school and learn first-hand what studying in Singapore is like.  Make new friends and share a meal in the school canteen.

Day 9
Language lessons take place in the morning.

Did you know that Singapore had farms?

They are not the usual type of farms but ones that use technology. See how tropical fish are bred, how orchids are cultivated for export and vegetables are grown without soil.

Day 10
Language lessons take place in the morning.

Immerse yourself in the world of science at the Singapore Science Centre. Biotechnology Exhibition, Robotics Learning Centre, Mathemagic, and Ecogarden are some of the exhibit areas in the centre. The Singapore Science Centre offers a series of enrichment programmes for students which include laboratory courses, lecture demonstrations, science talks, gallery teachings, mathematical problem-solving activities, observatory sessions, and computer courses.

Day 11
After language lessons, change to walking shoes. It is time to go on a walking trail of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

Singapore is one of the only two cities in the world with a significant area of rain forest within its boundaries - be awed by the beauty of the 164-hectare Bukit Timah Nature Reserve!

Day 12
Language lessons take place in the morning.

It's a fun day today. Spend the afternoon with games and activities at Resort Downtown East. Then, it's on to a wild time at the Escape Theme Park. End the evening with a barbecue.

Day 13
Last day for school enrichment programmes. Present your projects and show how much you have learned.

It is also your last chance to buy some souvenirs to bring home. Catch the excitement of Orchard Road or Suntec City with its many shopping malls. Sports gear, audio equipment, IT equipment, books etc, - the choice is huge.

Day 14
Today is going to be a relaxing one. Visit the National Orchid Gardens and then picnic at the Botanic Gardens. Get your photos developed and share some memories with your friends.

Your trip to Singapore draws to a close, but the memories will linger on.  Take a minute to say good-bye - we hope you will return to our sunny island soon!
