Maximise the opportunity to savour what Singapore has to offer!
On the first day, experience the many exciting faces of our fascinating city! Contrast the old and the new icons of Singapore, from the Merlion, a fascinating half lion half fish statue overlooking the Marina Bay to the Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay, a magnificent icon representing Singapore's arts and culture.
Spend the afternoon and evening on the island of Sentosa, a popular recreation venue. Soak in history at the Images of Singapore, be dazzled by the dancing waters of the musical fountain, look at marine life in a moving tunnel at Underwater World, or you can have games organised for the group on the beach.
Leave the hustle and bustle of the city to learn about the flora and fauna of Singapore. Go on a walking trail though the 164-hectare Bukit Timah Nature Reserve or the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
Spend the afternoon at the Singapore Zoo. Armed with worksheets, you can learn all about the animals in this well-known "open" zoo where animals are in enclosures with natural barriers.
Experience Singapore's cultural heritage. Chinatown Heritage Centre takes you back in history to the time when Chinese immigrants settled in Singapore and the struggles they faced.
Little India, intense with the aroma of spices and the swirl of colourful sari fabric, forms the backdrop for an afternoon of discovery into the life of the Indian community in Singapore.
The last stop for the day - Malay Village where the museum and re-creation of a kampong house brings you to a time in the past.
Immerse yourself in the world of science at the Singapore Science Centre. Biotechnology Exhibition, Robotics Learning Centre, Mathemagic, and Ecogarden are some of the exhibit areas in the centre. The Singapore Science Centre offers a series of enrichment programmes for students which include laboratory courses, lecture demonstrations, science talks, gallery teachings, mathematical problem-solving activities, observatory sessions, and computer courses.
Too soon, it's time to go home. Remember to pick up some souvenirs before going to the airport.
Good bye and with the wonderful memories, maybe there will be another opportunity to visit Singapore again.
For an eventful and enriching experience, you may want to consider a longer stay in Singapore.
