- Singapore has emerged first in both Mathematics and Science in a 49-country study of Grade 4 (Primary 4) and Grade 8 (Secondary 2) students conducted in 2002-03. The study, conducted by the International Association for Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) based in Boston, USA, affirms the high quality of Mathematics and Science education in our public schools in Singapore.

In The Times Higher Education – QS World University 2008 rankings, NUS was placed 30th among the World’s top 200 universities. NTU was ranked 26th place as a technological university, and 77th position overall. The NUS MBA programme was rated 1st in Asia in the QS Global 200 Business Schools 2009: Employers’ Choice Survey. NTU was placed 24th globally, and within top 5 positions in the Asia Pacific region in the Financial Times MBA Ranking 2009.
